Tuesday Morning Work:
Students, click on this link http://padlet.com/wall/jketqu4gev Once you get to my wall, please respond to the question. Use a complete sentence and proper grammar and punctuation.
Feb. 12 ~ Early Release 1:15
Feb. 13 ~ Interims issued, Camp forms and Money Due
Feb. 14~ Valentine's Exchange (Optional)
Feb. 17~ Student Holiday
March 12-14 ~ Camp LaNoChe
All forms and money must be turned in by Friday, Feb. 14th, , don't forget that the three part form must be notarized and the blue form is double sided. Each camper should bring in a clean white t-shirt. Be sure to put your child's name on the tag. Also, my homeroom is responsible for bringing in 8-packs of Hershey bars. These can be brought in at any time.
The February reading goal is 1 historical fiction book and two science or Social Studies non-fiction books. The historical fiction book must be approved by me. As we get closer to camp time, students start to lose focus of homework, tests, etc. Please make every effort to help keep them on track. The number of Missing Homework slips that go home each week is discouraging.
This week we will start the Valley Forge DBQ. This one will be more student driven and students will be asked to write the essay on their own. This grade will become part of their permanent record. It would be a great idea to discuss the documents and their significance with your child so that they get the practice of speaking about the topic.
Thank you for all the support from home.
