Interim Reports will come home on Thursday, September 19th.

Please sign and return back to school on next day. Thank you for your attention to this!

In celebration of Constitution Day tomorrow, Tuesday, Sept. 17th

Allow your child to wear RED, WHITE, and BLUE or any combination of those colors tomorrow!

Pearson Website info came home today to help your child work on Math Online at home!

Edline Info came home last week – this was you activation code and student id to access your child's grades anytime night or day. Keep all this info in a safe place all year, please.

We started SMART groups today (Supplemental, Math, And Reading Time)! All of second grade is participating in this as we move students into groups that specifically target Math and Reading concepts/skills where each child can receive enrichment or remediation. This occurs from 12:40 – 1:10 4 days per week, in 3 weeks cycles. I am proud to say that every teacher works hard to make this another worthwhile part of your child's day.

Picture Day – Friday, September 20th

Envelopes came home today. If you are interested in purchasing additional pictures, send back with form filled out no later than Picture Day this Friday. All students will get their picture taken even if no pictures are purchased. This picture will go in the Manatee Yearbook that will be published and available for purchase at the end of the year.

We have a new photography  company this year: Strawbridge Studios, Inc.

Make sure students don't wear green.  They are using a green screen and all you will see is students' heads!

**CHANGE IN TIME FOR EARLY RELEASE DAY – September 25th 1:15!! (Not 1:30) This is a District Decision that you need to be aware of!
