School Counseling Program

Our Role

School Counselors are a resource for school staff, parents, and students. When a family is experiencing difficult times we are available for student assistance through individual counseling, or assisting with coordinating resources that are available in school, as well as services in the community.

What types of issues do families call on the school counselor for? Some of the issues we see students for are:

*Illness/Death

*Divorce/Separation

*Loss of Pet

*Teasing/Bullying

*Struggles with Homework

*Friend Issues
