Hello Parents!!
I hope you have enjoyed hearing tales of the first few days of school as much as I have enjoyed spending them with your little ones! We have a very sweet class, and I'm so excited to see how they all blossom and grow as the year goes on. J
Typically, I send out my "Welcome to Kindergarten" packet by hard copy- however, to save money and trees, I'm sending it electronically this year. The final page is a "I have read this extremely long document J" indicator, so if you could please print it out and send it in, it would be appreciated. If I don't receive one from your family by next week, I'll send home a hard copy for you (or if you'd like one, please just request it and I'll be glad to pass one on.)I am attaching the document to this email, as well as our class website. Some of you have asked about donating items to the classroom, (THANK YOU! J) I have started a "Wish List" document on the website, but will update it with more items by our Open House- which will be held THIS THURSDAY! I am also attaching a document regarding this and our annual Ice Cream Social. Hope you can make it! The kids will show you around their classroom, and then I will do a short presentation to try and elaborate on some of the info you will find in the packet attached.
I hope all of you were able to pick up a flyer regarding our Color Parade Days when dropping your child off. If not, I am attaching that as well. J
Thank you for making sure your child comes with a healthy snack everyday- please be sure to write their name on their snack to make passing them out easier for all of us J Also, if you could place the one snack in a separate place from the lunchbox, it would help your child remember to put their snack in the "snack basket" in the morning, developing those skills of independence. J
